POW Net Radio - Is Arkansas Out of Step?

Patriots on Watch Radio: On this program

Is Arkansas out of step? Voters across the country are tossing establishment politicians out on their ears. Here, especially on the Republican side, the establishment candidates won.

Has the Christian Right left their first love? Is the Christian right losing sight of its foundations, just like the Christian left did two generations ago? The "Emerging Church" bears striking similarities to the old Christian left.

Also, a good start in Arizona. States better make back up plans, not just in immigration enforcement but in everything the Federal government ought to do.

I take it any future campaigns you run won't care about the Presbyterian vote?

Listened, but didn't catch the answer to the question. Is Arkansas out of step? How can Little Rock Republicans pick the big ticket candidates?

1) Virtually all Presbyterians who are remotely likely to vote for anyone I would support will know what I am talking about. And when it gets to the point that I can't speak the truth and run political campaigns then I won't run political campaigns. I love the truth, not campaigning. I view campaigns as a vehicle to speak and advance the truth.

2) second anon, I hope that I was more clear than that. Some of this stuff is more subtle than a 20 second sound bite that hits one in the face though. The truth is often like that and the truth is what I endeavor to speak.

LR and the 2nd district was just one example. Republicans picked establishment candidate Griffin in overwhelming numbers. His biggest claim to fame is replacing a man who was run out for no reason that is good (Cummings). In each and every federal race where there was one, the more closely connected to insiders the better they did. The 3rd district did not have a pure insider, but they had some pure outsider candidates, and they did not make the runoff. IN the Senate, Boozman wins without a run-off in an 8 way race even though his record is one of a man who has become a one of them, not one of us.

The Constitution does not delegate the power to regulate immigration and border control to the Feds and through the Tenth Amendment it automatically goes to the states or the people.

I've heard that claim before. What about article 1 section 9?

Section 9 - Limits on Congress

"The Migration or Importation of such Persons as any of the States now existing shall think proper to admit, shall not be prohibited by the Congress prior to the Year one thousand eight hundred and eight, but a tax or duty may be imposed on such Importation, not exceeding ten dollars for each Person."

The feds have some constitutional authority, at least in the sense that they can prohibit immigration. I don't think this provision grants SOLE authority to prohibit immigration or migration to the feds, but it does hint at it.
